18"x32" digital photo collage and mixed media (archival inks on canvas, acrylic paint) with custom frame of hand textured aluminum and red oak.  Description in the artist's words: Inspired by quote by Robert Louis Stevenson "It is not so much for its beauty that the forest makes a claim upon men's hearts as for that subtle something, that quality of air, that emanation from old trees that so wonderfully changes and renews a weary spirit." This series of drawings is a melding of my Infinity Collections and drawings from earlier Mystic pieces.  I've used a stylized tree design to create a surreal mirror maze.  The effect is a glimpse of a world that transcends time and space.  The title is inspired by "Night Owl" by Gerry Rafferty.

Included is an HD digital download of the cinemagraph created as part of the Corona Creations Collection of artwork made by artists during the isolation period of the Covid 19 crisis.

"In my “artist in residency” here in Manchaca, I’ve found myself concentrating on the remastered video versions of my digital photographic compositions.

It seems that this moment while the world is closing down in so many ways, it has opened up and is embracing digital content and connections.

Since the festivals are canceled and the physical encounter is postponed, it seemed a good time to create for the sake of creation. I like the idea of artwork that can transport you to another place and time. I’d like to offer a moment of quiet and relaxation, a chance to escape into a positive oasis during these difficult times.

I’ve added several new cinemagraphs to my collections, created channels on IGTV and YouTube. I suggest a comfortable chair, full screen viewing. Sit back and take a break for a few minutes."
