Jeanette Chinelli was born in San Francisco, California, to a family of creative Italians. In her artistic process, she begins a painting with acrylic to give her a stronger idea about the color pallette. Once she has cemented that direction, then the oil paint is the final layer. Her appreciation for mid-century modern designs has brought her to the chair as her primary subject matter. Influence by designers like Ray and Charles Eames, Jeanette feels that a chair is more than a chair...it's personal!
